Meet the Part of You That Won't Let You Switch Off
by Patrik Harbusch
Mindfulness teacher & founder of Nature of Mind
A 60-minute workshop on why you keep pushing even when you want to slow down, and how to feel more at ease without losing your drive.
Tuesday, October 6
9:00 AM CEST (Berlin) / 3:00 PM Bali
For people with demanding workand family lives who are tired of feeling stressed,on edge, and reactive.
In this 60-minute workshop, we’ll explore:
-
Why your mind keeps running when you finally sit down to rest, and what it may actually be trying to do for you
-
Why stress-management techniques help in the moment but don't reach what keeps you constantly "on"
-
Why you can long for rest and still feel restless or guilty the moment you get it
-
A guided practice to meet the part that keeps pushing, and feel what changes when it no longer runs you automatically
-
Why drive and inner pressure are not the same thing, and how you can stay sharp without the constant strain
What’s Really Behind All That Pushing and Worrying?
You may notice this part most clearly when you finally want to rest and your mind simply won’t stop.
But the same part may have been with you all day: planning, worrying, pushing, and making sure nothing goes wrong.
Instead of trying to quiet or overcome this part, this workshop will introduce you to a different way of relating to it.
This workshop draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS) — an approach that helps us understand and work with the different parts of ourselves — combined with mindfulness and nervous system regulation.

Meet Your Guide
Patrik is a certified mindfulness teacher and mentor whose training spans mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and IFS-informed inner work.
Before starting this work, he spent more than a decade in demanding real estate and investment environments and knows firsthand what it can feel like to perform well externally while carrying a lot of pressure internally.
His approach brings together mindfulness, nervous system regulation, Internal Family Systems–informed inner work, and awareness practices to help people meet demanding lives from a steadier, more grounded place.

You don't have to choose between being driven and at ease.
The goal isn't to get rid of the part of you that cares, strives, and wants things to go well.
It is to begin relating to that part differently so that your natural drive can remain without inner pressure having to run your life.
